Tesla Hype (@TeslaHype) recently shared a short video about the Tesla Cybertruck out test on Twitter. This video originally came from Jesse Sandoval via Drive Tesla Canada. We heard that Tesla may be making design updates to Cybertruck, although it is difficult to know what (or who) to believe.

According to Tesla’s hype, the Cybertruck in Sandoval’s video is equipped with a rear-view mirror and appears to use a rear-wheel steering system. Tesla CEO Elon Musk has mentioned in the past . In general, this particular Cybertruck seems to be an updated prototype discussed on social media.

Although the side-view mirrors are not surprising, since we have realized that Cybertruck may need to be equipped with them, the potential rear-wheel steering is interesting. As Tesla delays its Cybertruck and competitors' entry into the market, it may need to do everything in its power to make electric pickups more attractive.

The Rivian R1T is already on the market, and it has proven to be an incredible off-road truck, which is what most people expect. It also has its own party skills, although some are still in development. Thanks to its four-wheel steering system, the Hummer EV can perform "crab walking". Moreover, although the Ford F-150 Lightning does not have such skills, it has the ability to power your home, which can be said to be a game changer.

Sandoval had a conversation with Drive Tesla Canada. He said he found the Tesla Cybetruck prototype at the Castle Airport in Atwater, California, which is about two hours’ drive from Fremont, California.

As you can see in the video, there is no doubt whether electric pickups have side-view mirrors. Although the video is a bit grainy and the Cybertruck is far away, you can see the mirror without a doubt.

There is really no way to determine that the Cybertruck prototype in the video uses rear-wheel steering. However, it seems to maneuver well, and its small turning radius is impressive. Musk tweeted in July that Tesla will add a rear-wheel steering system to its upcoming electric trucks.

Tesla said it plans to start producing Cybertruck at the end of 2022, but will not mass-produce it until 2023. However, the automaker also said that the arrival time of Model Y will be much later than it actually is.

Tesla Cybertruck's production and delivery time may depend on the opening of Tesla's two new factories. More specifically, everything related to the upcoming Cybertruck depends on Giga Austin.
