Case IH is bringing a slew of updates and new creature comforts to its Maxxum and Puma Series tractors for the 2022 model year.

“When it comes to getting the most out of every moment in the field, operator comfort is second to none,” says J.E. Cadle, midrange tractor marketing manager for Case IH. “Maxxum and Puma Series tractors are already known for their convenient designs and features that make in-cab comfort a priority. These new upgrades will further ensure that operators are able to work comfortably and productively regardless of field conditions.”

The upgrades are coming to model year 2022 Maxxum tractors equipped with MultiControl armrests and Puma 150 and 165 model tractors.

Maxxum series model Case IH

This current generation of Maxxum tractors launched in model year 2018. These tractors are designed to be multipurpose workhorse tractors, versatile for fieldwork or loader work. They’re offered in five models ranging from 115 to 145 engine hp., delivering 95 to 125 PTO hp. These are offered with three optional transmissions and the choice between MFD or 2WD.

The lineup of midsize Puma tractors is designed with the flexibility needed for livestock, dairy, and mixed-crop operations in mind. The upgrades for these tractors are coming specifically to the 150-hp. and 165-hp. tractors.

Many of the enhancements to the 2022 model year Puma and Maxxum tractors are built off of features introduced in 2021. The enhancements include a redesigned hood for the 150 and 165 Puma models, improved lighting, and Hi-eSCR2 emissions technology for longer service intervals and enhanced fuel economy. All of these updates for comfort and precision were driven by customer input.

“Every enhancement we’ve made has been driven by what producers want and need from their equipment,” Cadle says. “We’re excited to build on these design upgrades in the years to come.”

All of the comfort updates to the Maxxum and Puma series tractors were designed with operators in mind. When you’re spending your whole day behind the wheel of a tractor, comfort can make or break your operation.
